The links below detail IS&C plans to recover services should a disaster occur in the North Hall computing facility.  In summary, we would acquire replacement equipment to install in our equipment room in SAASB.  We have a contract with a supplier who guarantees shipment of replacement hardware within five days of our declaring a loss.  Obtaining new hardware and loading data from backups would require approximately two weeks.  Services would not be available during that time.  Departments who depend on services emanating from North Hall are encouraged to make their own contingency plans for carrying out their functions until we are back in operation.  The material below provides details and guidance on planning for a disaster.
